I finally got to run on a track! This was a lot of fun. The track is soft and well maintained. I needed to do 12×400 meters so it was crucial to be able to repeatedly run a short distance uninterrupted. Use of the track at Kezar stadium is often impeded this time of year by high school football matches of all types (american and international) but I got lucky and there were just a few runners out there Wednesday evening.
The map that my GPS drew is very amusing in that it clearly shows me leaving the track and running straight across the field, which I did not do. I suppose that is an unfair test case for a GPS, going around and around in circles.
