I am in trouble. I caught a cold on Sunday and I’ve been doing nothing but sleeping and working since then. I finally went out for a brief evening run. But everything was tightening up. I tried to run slow and ease back into it but, as we’ve learned, I can’t pace myself to save my life. I am in trouble.
I’m going to crank it back up this weekend and do a long run of 8-10 miles. If I can do that without feeling terrible then I’ll have some confidence back going into the race.
