5.59 miles, 49:51

It was toasty down in the South Bay today but, I wanted to go back to Stevens Creek Trail since the last time I was there the ITBS set in for the first time and I was suffering pretty badly. This time around I managed to get from my work place to the memorial for my friend Jos Claerbout and back. It gave me a lift to reach Jos’ rock on the side of the trail. I started to think about what he would be up to today. Bittersweet thoughts but it was nice to reflect. Even with that boost though I’ve got to learn to slow my pace a bit if I want to complete 13+ miles. Eppie’s is definitely not going to happen this weekend for me but, that’s probably for the best. Completely focused on the half-marathon now.
