Near race pace today. I say near because there were no other runners to chase, no encouragement from anyone around, and I didn’t start out with the intention to run at race pace. However, I was tickled to turn in a fairly quick time. Unfortunately, at work today I stooped down to pick something up off the ground and in the process tweaked me knee which promptly swelled to the size of a grapefruit. Icing it helped a bit but it is still stiff and sore which means no run tomorrow. Well, the post-speedy run glow was nice while it lasted.
